A person with a good heart and character.

Hi Everyone,

I Love working with her! She is 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. She's able to explain things in a 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 manner for me to understand 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

As I grew in my career, I did my first retirement investment policies with her and she has been updating me on my fund performance.

As I was new to such investment schemes, she guided me 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐛𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 on how to get the most of my hard earned money. I am grateful she looked out for her clients’ interest when there are policy changes.

I know 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐫. And this 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 that my retirement and my 𝐬𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬. She's a friend and a great financial advisor! Her 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 has been immensely helpful to me to start my financial and wealth planning journey! Thank you Etak!

Etak has been a good FA who assisted me on my claim.

Hi Everyone,

Etak has been a good FA who assisted me on my claim due to my recent piles procedure at Gleneagles. The claim went smooth as per what she had advised that didn’t add on to the stress that I was in during the operation. Insurance is important! It’s a life saver for any unpredictable health issue. If you need a good FA, I will strongly recommend Etak!

Someone that you can rely on

It is totally not hard to pen down this testimonial for Etak as I have so much good things to say about my FC.

I first got to know Etak through my husband and that was in year 2015. Dreaded, thinking that is probably another sales talk again, I reluctantly agreed to meet this lady. However, it turns out she is totally unlike the typical stigma that you have for a FC. She is frank, upfront and very honest to answer my needs.

Moving forward to this day, she is not just my FC, she has also became a personal friend of mine whom I see as a role model too. What I really love about her is that she never fails to empower women to do their best through her encouragement and most importantly she does it genuinely.

Etak will be someone that you can rely on and personally I have introduced a couple of friends to her as I know that they will be very well taken care by her for their financial or personal growth.

Meldys Tan, Real Estate Agent

Etak has always been there for me throughout my thick and thin.

It has been a good 13 years. It felt like it was just yesterday, the memory is still fresh till today. When I first met her, I was 19 years old and I recalled meeting her at one of her roadshows at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. I was waiting for a friend and she came forward to approach me. My first impression of her was that she was a ray of sunshine. I recalled her approach was slightly different from the other salespeople that I've encountered. Well. You know what I mean, those situations where you felt a little skeptical and you will try your ways to steer away. I remembered her approach was more of a small talk, something refreshing for me back then. She wasn't pushy nor did I feel a tiny bit of a glimpse of a motive that, "I want to close a deal with this girl". Well, you get the picture..

Etak has always been there for me throughout my thick and thin. She is always quick to jump in whenever I need assistance. She has been more of a great friend than just a “business transaction” situation throughout the 13 years of service. Having Etak as my financial consultant has never been so fulfilling. A possible way to describe it – A “Genuine Connection” that you sincerely want to hold onto. She is indeed a great friend that you never could have imagined and the one that you want to keep close to.

I could have felt less assured if I have not met her. I never had anyone close to me to ensure my financial goals or health coverage are being met. I have been through a lot of highs and lows in my life and I never had the time to slow down to think through my long-term goals and I know Etak has that covered.

Recently I made a decision to leave my Full-Time job because I never felt so burnt out and demoralized in my career. A few months before I resigned, I reached out to her as I felt I couldn't breathe any longer with the chaos that I was going through at work. Without any hesitation, despite me knowing that her schedule are always packed, she set aside everything and gave me a call immediately. First thing on the phone, she was ensuring that I was doing alright emotionally. I remember telling her on the phone that all I want to know is if I could take a good break before coming back strong with my career and that if we could schedule for a meet-up to discuss further. We slotted the time out and we had a good long conversation. She was empathic throughout; we worked on my portfolio and she gave me advices on what are the plans we could work on. I felt reassured once again, all thanks to her. I am really grateful for her to be there for me in a time like this.

Outstanding work spoke beyond task or job, it builds relationship and trust.

Hi Everyone,

Dear Etak,

Thank you very much for the catch-up session via Zoom last Friday. Appreciate the extra mile that you consistently been delivering, from bespoke investment updates to new recommendations on how to grow further my investment. During this time of uncertainty, where I also lost the most important person in my life, my Mom, I felt your empathy and support. It’s very comforting to know that I made the right decision to trust to Prudential my retirement investment. Surely, you have proven I’m in a good hands. Keep it up! Your outstanding work spoke beyond task or job, it builds relationship and trust.

I have mentioned this to you. I dealt with a number of other financial consultant even before you, and no one has delivered the same passion as you did. Looking forward for such continuous excellent delivery.

The future just looks more and more promising, thanks to her!

Hi Everyone,

Etak has been my financial advisor since 2015. Her expertise and sound advice has always made me comfortable sharing with her my financial goals at different points of my life.

From the hospitalisation coverage and other protection when I just started to work in Singapore, then the great investment portfolio she had recommended to me and my wife, and to the most recent which is more for my retirement, the future just looks more and more promising thanks to her!

Also, the catch-ups from time to time she initiates with her clients is what makes her different from the other financial advisors I have known. She ensures we get to maximize our investment and adjust our portfolio accordingly when there are changes in the market for better returns.

She’s more than a financial consultant but a good friend.

Hi Everyone,

When we were seeking insurance here in Singapore, a friend of ours recommended Etak to us. My friend told me to try and contact her, so we did set an appointment with her last 2019. We’ve been through many insurance agents and we thought that it’s just the same but Etak is different. Her aura, her personality, sincerity, concern, and kindness made us decide to go for Prudential. She’s very passionate about her work, she’s been guiding us since day 1 and keeping in touch with us regularly. Even in times of pandemic, she tried to reach out to us. I think most of her clients felt the same way, that she’s more than a financial consultant but a good friend.

I, personally learned a lot about life insurance and investments through her. Whenever we have questions or clarification, she’s always available to answer everything. I remember there’s this time that we’ve been through a lot of struggles in terms of health, financial and loss of loved ones and it has really a big impact to us but then Etak rescued us and guide us step by step on what we should do to continue our life insurance and be secured. She’s very patient with us, very helpful, and sincere. I think that’s her character and traits that make her stand out, her pure and genuine intention is to help and educate not only as a financial consultant but a friend. Grateful to meet her and thankful for her support and kindness.

Personable, Professional & Well Versed

Long time back I wasn’t really keen on all these insurance stuff and mostly I found agents very aggressive in upselling. But finally I thought I really need something that suited my requirements. I found that few of my friends had the same agent and that’s how I came to know Etak. That was around 2014. She was very personable, professional and well versed on her products. She actually listened to what my requirements were and presented me with suitable options that where tailored and affordable to me. She was never hard selling trying to push all sorts of products to me but catered more to my needs. This really made me comfortable keeping my relationship with her. What made her stand out to me is that she consistently makes it a point to catch up with her clients just to touch base with them. She has also been with the company for a long time and makes me confident that she will be there for the long haul.

She has been with me for half a decade now and she is very familiar with my financial journey Thru my ups and downs, offering either just a listening ear or suggestions to help me do better. I find her inspiring as well as person. I wish her all the best and I hope for continued fruitful relationship with her.

Lateral Thinking & Common Sense Approach

I am delighted with Etak’s service. It is refreshing to work with a financial adviser who is truly interested in their client’s needs, circumstances, and preferences. What impressed me was the way she took the time to get a feeling for where I was at, her depth of knowledge, lateral thinking, and her common-sense approach. She’s professional, ethical and caring demeanor elicits my trust and respect and I gladly recommend her services whenever possible.

Listens to my needs in financial planning and issues.

I met this prudential advisor at a roadshow when it is the year 2008 or 2009; can't really remember. She is a pleasant, cheerful, friendly heartwarming lady. At first, I didn't want to listen or have a chat with her, but I think she is sincere that touch me, she explains about the needs of a policy and savings plan, and I decided to trust her as my financial consultant on that day onward. She always listen to my needs and help me a lot in my financial planning and insurance issue. She always will contact me and ask me how is my day and plan for a meetup up till this days even after 10 years from a FC she is now more like a friend to me. I use to have other FC, but none is like her. Some will just sell you a policy then after that just don't bother anymore or when, you call up then they will explain or just push to other colleagues. My FC (Etak Chen Pei Shi) is totally different. She help me to follow up on all my policy, and I can just trust that she will help me to solve all my worries. She is always a good listener and good consultant.

Guo Yanping

A testimonial for Ms Etak Chen as my Prudential Financial Consultant.

I first met Ms Etak Chen at a Prudential roadshow in NIE about seven years plus ago. She approached and told me confidently how she is able to manage my finances well in terms of long term savings and investment.

I find that indeed she embodies Prudential’s tagline: “Always listening, Always understanding”. She fact finds all information of my financial status carefully and is able to make suggestions to me from that professionally. She doesn’t allows the circumstances (be it around her or me) to affect her decision making for what is best for me as a client. As i do have some investments in Prudential, she has regular meetings with me to update on my portfolio. I sincerely appreciate her diligence in her work attitude and the care in making decisions, even if my investment portfolio is only average-sized.

Before Etak, I had another Prudential advisor. Both advisors are professional and are willing to help. Etak however is able to capture my wants and needs in terms of financial planning and investment, and not just wanting insurance policies. Her ability to catch on client’s needs and wants, and then follow up with spot on suggestions are what makes her different from others. Over the years of working with her, we became friends and it is easy to trust her in the decisions she make. As a friend, she even demonstrated concerns when I am to marry my girlfriend >D.

A solid investment plan, a 12% increment cash investment portfolio, and a plan on how to give confidence to a girl and her family in terms of marriage. :p

100% Trust & Faith

Hi Everyone,

Time flies, I have known Etak for more than 6 years already. I met Etak through her cousin, where my portfolio was handover to her as her cousin has to pursue to another line of business.

As a customer, there’s always fear and risk to handover portfolio to a new FC where he /she could have just anyhow plan for you. But after knowing Etak’s position and her achievements, I have 100% trust and faith that she can handle my portfolio well.

Etak has always shows her professionalism by listening and understand what I need at different stages of life, and she will recommend the best plans to maximise my insurance coverage, investment and as well as retirement plan. Furthermore, she is someone that does not hard-sell plans unlike others.

Besides being a great FC, she is a good mum, wife and great leadership which is someone that I inspired to be 😊

Sincerely,

Imparting you wisdom, necessary solutions catered to your needs.

im a new member to Etak's long list of happy clients! It has been 2 months so far and i'm very pleased with the process. Etak is sincere, ever-helpful, passionate and very knowledgeable about financial planning. She would never press you to purchase a product you dont need, and you can feel that she is really looking out for you when going through the financial planning process.

Etak is timely, professional and patient in explaining all the little details of each plan i had queries about. Each word on the insurance documents felt like Egyptian hieroglyphs to me , Etak was able to address each line and make it easy to understand in simple english.

Etak exudes an aura of peace and zen. Previously i had encountered a few other advisors (who i wont mention) that really makes you feel pressured to buy from them. Maybe its their training but i dont like dealing with someone who hard-sells. With Etak you get the feeling that shes truely imparting you wisdom, and the product that you buy are just necessary solutions to your needs.

I had gained valuable knowledge on how to plan my finances while protecting my downsides. I now have a peace of mind knowing that should any illness struck ill be protected, while my loved ones would be taken care of.

Etak is well-versed in personal wealth accumulation and protection and company employee benefit solution. Over the years she has significantly increased my investment portfolio, while making sure that my income protection needs are well taken care of. I highly recommend Etak and fully trust her as a wealth consultant to manage and grow my financial portfolio.

Derek Tan

My trusted financial adviser

Hi Everyone,

The first time I saw Etak, I felt intimidated because she looks so pretty and sophisticated. Generally speaking most of the sales agents are often times only after the commissions. But when she offered me other policies and I refused to take she was not pushy that's why in my mind I said maybe she is different. So she impressed me. She has always been responsive to my calls and queries. That's what I like about her.
Aside for her pleasing personality, she is always ready to help, to give advice and to find ways for me to really benefit from our policies. I really appreciate when she adviced me and even process almost everything for me to get my claims. She also helped me to maximize the profit in my investments by advising me on when is the right time to buy and sell my stocks.

Sincerely,
Race
